About Us

Aimee & Ed Hood are a husband and wife team who work seamlessly together to create a stunning story of your special day.  Aimee has pursued her dream as a photographer since she was a small girl, and over the years has earned many awards and recognition on her work.   She holds the CPP degree from Professional Photographers of America, and also the Service Medallion from the Professional Photographers of California.  She was also awarded Wedding Photographer of the Year in 2007, and Portrait Photographer of the Year 2 years in a row in 2005 and 2006.  She has dedicated many years as a volunteer in giving back to her own local and state organizations.  She served as President of PPNV, and Marketing Chair for PPC.  She also served as a PPA Councilor in 2007-2008.  She is currently working on earning her Masters of Photography through PPA.  It is her continued desire to better her art by attending photographic conventions, workshops, and entering print competitions, that keeps her work fresh and updated.

Ed started his photographic journey as Aimee’s assistant.  Over the past 5 years, he began shooting the second camera, and through Aimee’s guidance and training, became a very talented photographer as well!  Ed also continues to improve his photographic skills by attending conventions, and workshops, and is currently working on earning his certification – CPP.  Ed also has a background in art, and he has a unique eye for composition, and detail.

Together, we both love to work together at weddings, and we focus 100% of our attention on your wants and desires for a perfect day.  We are known to help on many occasions with co-ordination.  Our goal is to give you breathtaking memories of your day to relive again and again.  Our style is romantic, fresh, fun, and with a dash of edgy fashion.
