Our Philosophy on Weddings

Weddings are a time of love, joy, family, sharing, romance & beauty. I love to capture all of these moments so that when my clients look at their wedding pictures they see a story unfolding and are able to re-live the day from a different view.

Marriage is such a special time in a couples’ lives and as photographers we take this rite of passage very seriously. Our goal is to provide memories of this day, and pictures of family that are very important that will surely become family heirlooms! We don’t want the everyday “cheese” photos. We want to create images of art, passion, and emotion. This requires time, and a stress-free
environment. Allow us to show you how this can be accomplished in a beautiful way!

We will work closely with you to co-ordinate your wedding day photography. Because of our many years of experience, we understand the dynamics of the wedding day, and can prepare you for what to expect, what not to do, and what to do!

One of the many new trends in wedding photography is to do a “Private Moment” between the bride & groom prior to the ceremony. We believe in this type of session for many reasons. My favorite reason is for the Romance of the moment! This moment is the one single moment that the bride & groom will have to themselves the entire day. I have never had a couple regret doing it. In fact, they have told me it was the most memorable moment of the day, and was just for the
two of them. It is so true, your nerves are calmer, and the best part of it all, is that we are able to capture this special moment for you, and then also do all of the family photos prior to the ceremony as well. This allows for a very smooth flow to the wedding day. Once the ceremony is over, you only have to go straight to the reception and enjoy your party! Not another hour of family pictures, that noone really wants to do in the first place! The only other photos you might want to do for the two of you, are sunset photos if the time and location is right.

If you love our style, and creativity, please understand these images are created through a Private Moment Wedding Style, and are very difficult to create with only 1 hour or less of photos after the ceremony. Our style of shooting creates a virtually stress-free day, and I can’t express
enough the importance of doing a “Private Moment” on your wedding day.
